Timeline for KOMITAT

2016 - Year of the first test
The start for KOMITAT as a comfortable place to stay for company teams, temporarily moved to Bucharest. More than 1,000 people have crossed our threshold with appreciation for the opportunity to feel at home – even if far from their loved ones.
2017 – Results that confirm success
Being the largest accommodation complex equipped from A to Z with everything a temporarily relocated person might need, the companies were delighted to return to KOMITAT, with teams from various fields of activity.​
2018 – New buildings brought into service
Even the companies that used labor from other countries found new accommodation solutions suitable both for the available budgets and for the requirements of the accommodated teams. Therefore, we managed to bring another building in service within the KOMITAT complex, with over 1,200 available accommodation places.​
2019 – Humans before business
The labor force crisis in Romania has convinced us that people come first, which is why companies found at KOMITAT a solution to a wide range of complex needs, which we have been able to identify and address to the highest standards. An additional strength is the integration of Asian workforce that has arrived in Bucharest and has been accommodated at KOMITAT.
2020 - The test of rigor and high standards
Also for KOMITAT, the year of the pandemic came with challenges, but it was relatively easy because in the past, we have been a benchmark for cleanliness and rigorous sanitization. We have increased safety measures, and the clients have confidence in continuing their collaboration with us because we have demonstrated day by day that we are the most reliable in the industry.
2021 – Values ​​put into practice
KOMITAT means more than just accommodation for teams brought to Bucharest. We provide value to companies that house their employees with us - as they are their most important resource. We always offer consultancy to increase their efficiency and maintain high standards, no matter how challenging the times we are going through. Even in pandemic times, we remain faithful to the values that have shaped us and we continue to make a difference through actions.
2022 – Expansion plans
For any consistent business, development becomes natural. The real increase in market demand for employees comfort and accommodation for teams brought to Bucharest, outlines expansion plans for KOMITAT.​
2023 - A new address on Bucharest's map for KOMITAT.
KOMITAT West is the new complex in Bucharest that is being inaugurated, so two different areas are strategically covered: KOMITAT South and KOMITAT West. The trust of satisfied companies has motivated us to choose to expand. We now aim for new addresses in response to the needs of companies that frequently accommodate international workforce in Bucharest.
KOMITAT has been the largest accommodation facility in Bucharest for relocated corporate teams since 2016, providing high comfort and maximum safety. With two complexes in different areas of the capital city, KOMITAT South and West offer over 2.000 accommodation places and the most competitive rates.
Accommodation for teams of employees from abroad in rooms with three and four beds, with bathroom in the room, modern furniture, storage spaces, TV & WI-FI, refrigerator and microwave, fully equipped kitchens, self-service laundry-dryer, green area and parking.​
Since 2016 KOMITAT has hosted teams from Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Indonesia, etc. and we can say that we have consistent experience in managing these valuable human resources.​
The Asian workforce became a reality for Romania, with constant growth in recent years. A great asset of the KOMITAT team became the integration of these people from the perspective of culture, culinary habits, religious habits and social adaptation on multiple levels.​
Simple, hardworking and dedicated people who deserve comfort, safety and clear guidelines during the adaptation period in Romania. A specific guidance that we have come to know very well because we have encountered many situations in the more than 7 years of activity and thousands of situations that we have managed brilliantly.​
